Mad Max on heat

Wow, went to the freakiest event ever last night. It's apparently "so underground, it's not even on google" (but, like, it is). Bike Kill - hosted by the Black Label Bicycle Club who apparently live in a house named The Chicken House and eat 100% vegan food. If you want to be in their gang, you must be prepared to do the same (and smell foul even if you're not eating it...). The vegan thing is a peaceful facade, Bike Kill is ferociously vicious. We turned up at night so perhaps the Coors Light 40 ouncers had an effect but it was completely mad. It looks a lot more "arty farty university student" by day. There was blood, fires in shopping trolleys, smashed glass and it smelt of piss mixed with feral vegan sweat. I couldn't help but wonder (oh lordy that sounds like Carrie in SATC) if it was a large group of real Bed-Stuy locals drinking, smashing glass and fighting on bikes - how quickly the police would have shut it down. By the way, what is the plural of trolley? It had an air of Lost Boys about it too but predominantly it was Mad Max outside Home Depot in Bed Stuy (Willoughby & Sanford), check it out next year!
